Buckstaff Bath House

Buckstaff Bath House

The Buckstaff Bath House in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a historic landmark and the only bathhouse on the famous Bathhouse Row to have been in continuous operation since its opening in 1912. Designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival architectural style, it offers a glimpse into a bygone era of therapeutic bathing. The Buckstaff is renowned for providing a traditional bathing experience, which includes a series of treatments such as a whirlpool mineral bath, hot packs, a sitz bath, and a steam cabinet, all utilizing the city's natural thermal spring water. Unlike its counterparts that have been repurposed into museums or other businesses, the Buckstaff maintains its original vintage character, including its ornate tile work and fixtures, offering visitors a timeless and authentic journey back to the "Golden Age of Bathing."
