The location is right on the water, with a beautiful outdoor area that we really enjoyed. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. All of the beds were very comfortable, which made for great rest after busy days. Our kids had a blast in the game room, and we all enjoyed the selection of games available in the house. James was a wonderful host—he checked in with us and made sure everything was going smoothly. The location is ideal—you get the peaceful lakefront setting while still being just a short drive from downtown Hot Springs. We had an amazing trip and would definitely stay here again!

James’s place on Lake Ouachita was perfect for our family. We stayed with our three boys (11, 7, and 5), and they swam with ease right off the back deck. The water is shallow enough for kids to stand in parts, and the area feels like a natural pool. We used light swim jackets when they wanted to go deeper. Mornings might require moving a few logs, but it’s beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable — typical lake house vibes with a few bugs here and there. The location is ideal: 2 mins from groceries, under 10 to Walmart/restaurants, and close to great spots like Crystal Springs and Lake Ouachita State Park - Three Sisters Springs. And only an hour 15 away from Alberts Pike - Incredible. Overall the space was great for relaxing, grilling, and watching the kids swim. Highly recommend for families looking for a quiet lakeside stay with easy access to everything.
