Kathryn was a great guest. We would be happy to host anytime.

The house was very clean and quaint. The game room is missing the air hockey table. The beds were memory foam and very comfortable but hot and the A/c couldn’t keep up. The kitchen light flickers when you run any of the electronics in the kitchen. The towels were nice and fluffy. The WiFi password in the instructions doesn’t match, must get the correct code out of the game room. I would hesitate to swim off the swimming dock as it is very unstable. It is not connected in one side and is very rocky when boats go by. It also warns you in the way out leaving the dock of a “electric shock hazard. Swim at your own risk”. I feel the sign should be warning you as you enter. Needless to say we did not swim. Very quiet neighborhood. I could have miss read things but you share the dock and game room with another family if they are there. Overall it is a nice property.

Expected waterfront property with full view of lake

The cottage was better than expected. Swim dock could use repair but otherwise wonderful place and great host. We very much enjoyed that they left a lot of information about the cabin and the area for us and even some snacks and coffee. Very thoughtful! We will stay here again!

Photos lead us to believe it was directly waterside and it is not. It is on top of the hill and you have to walk down narrow steep stairs to get to the water. The “swim dock” is not safe in my opinion. Lots of boat traffic with large waves. We were only there for about 30 minutes and decided to leave. Requested at least a partial refund and Carrie stopped responding. Is not worth $200 for 1 nights stay. Cabin is outdated. Very disappointing and wasted $200.
